In teaching, my goal is for students to be able to navigate technical, social, and ethical complexities individually and in community. As an instructor for Research Methods, I supported students in developing independent research projects while creating space for them to express the limitations of their work and learn from one another in an inclusive and welcoming environment. In my role as the Computational Social Science Research and Teaching Coordinator at the Digital Integration Teaching Initiative at Northeastern University, I taught accessible hands-on workshops to students with a range of social sciences and humanities backgrounds and prior levels of technical expertise to help them build technical skills. Throughout my teaching, I work to center marginalized perspectives and foster collaborative risk-friendly learning communities.
